Garena Pakistan DotA 1v1 Tournament



Hey all Pakistani gamers.. Now its your time to prove that you are the real DotA 1v1 Master..

Prizes :


1st Winner : 5000 EXP + 1 month Premium Membership
2nd Winner : 3000 EXP + 2 weeks Premium Membership

3rd Winner : 1500 EXP + 1 week Premium Membership


Tournament Room: Pakistan Dota Room

Game Time Start/Over: 8pm ~ 1am

Starting Date: 21th June



Garena Pakistan 1v1 Dota Tournament "Season 1" Brackets

Rules :


DotA version: v6.52d

Game mode: -apomnpsh (all pick - mid only - no powerups - same hero)

Time limit: 30 minutes

Venue: All games MUST be played on Garena in Pakistan Room.

Winning condition: Player who gets 3 kills first or who destroyed the 2nd tower.

Cash: Starting money will be default of 5v5 game, computer must be set on every available slots .

Format: Prelims - Single Elimination (one round only) Semi Final - Round Robin



Before Game :


- One player to choose side and the other player gets to choose whohasfirst pick. If the players are not able decide, you can asktheobserver for a cointoss.

- If a host has been decided upon, the entire match will be finished with that host, unless both players agree to change.

- If the players cannot agree upon a host then the host will be decided by a coinflip conducted by the observer.

- It is mandatory to save replays after each game by both players!Failing in doing so will result in a warning and/or removal from thetournament. If the game is loaded, screenshot the final score asreference.

Item Restrictions :
All items are allowed, except portals and courriers.

Hero Restrictions :
Invoker is banned.

Saving Game and Disconnection :
- Players are advised to save game on first blood, and every 15 minutes mark.
- On disconnection, game will be loaded back from the latest saved game.

Drawing of Game when Time is Up :
If 30 minutes is up, and the game ends with no winner yet then wewilldetermine the winner with the following criteria to declare winner
- Add up the total death and tower destroyed together, winner will be the one with less total.
- If still draws, then count points with:
  • 1 point for each opponent death
  • 1 point for each first tower
  • 2 points for each secodn tower
- If still draws then we will look at tower's health remaining.

Abuses & Exploitation :


Game Bug Abuse (Warning or Disqualification) :
- Abusing of all know bugs are disallowed.
- Any player found using bug to gain battle advantage will be disqualified immediately.

Hacks (Disqualification) :
- Maphacking, custom kick or any exploitation program of any kind are disallowed.
- No installing of any external programs or drivers.

Blocking (Warning or Disqualification) :
- No creep pulling or neutral creeping (junggling).
- Creep slowing is allowed.
- Using spells or any method of blocking attempting to creating a long duration of creep blocking is not allowed.
- Especially when the intention of the blocking is to create huge mass of creeps (mass that is more than 3-4 creep waves).

Pause Abuse (Warning or Disqualification):
During hero selection. From the point after hero selection process is completed, pausing without any valid reason is disallowed.

Unsportsmanship (Warning or Disqualification) :
- The observers are to be respected at all times, do not challenge the observers decision and cause the game to be withheld.
- Finish your game first and never quit game or disconnect withoutavalid reason or approval from the observers. Always pause the game andnotify any of the observers immediately if you have query or if youneed help.
- Vulgarities, taunting, racist remarks, political or religious remarks will result in immediate warning.
- Any unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
- Substituting / replacing of player that are not registered, if caught and proven will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Multiple registration of one player will lead to immediate disqualification.

Saving Replays (Warning) :
If any player did anything unnecessary causing a game save to be impossible, then he/she will be warned or disqualified.

Penalties :


Warning :
- Two (2) warnings given for the same player in one game will lead to disqualification.
- Total four (4) warnings for the same player in one tournamnet will lead to disqualification.

Disqualification :
- Immediate rejection from the tournament, players will be blacklisted.Duration of blacklisting will be determined by the observers.

Reporting Game Result :


- After the game, both players should save the replay and get the finalscore screenshot (if game is loaded and no replay available) asevidence, and then winner will need to upload it to forum.

- Replay and screenshot name should be as follows: Round_Player1_vs_Player2 (e.g. Round1_ABC_vs_DEF). In the forum pleasestate clearly round, both players and winner)

- By taking part in the competition, players fully understand that theobservers of the tournament are to be fully respected. Decision made byobservers will be final and not to be contested in an un-sportsmanlikemanner.
