- Set DHCP range (modem’s router range) to exclude 192.168.1.255 (Router static IP) e.g 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.254
- Port forward 192.168.1.255 (Router static IP), TCP 6112 - 6113 (1 port for each PC playing Warcraft III)
- Port forward 192.168.1.255, TCP & UDP 1513 - 1514 (1 port for each PC connecting to Garena)
Step 3 : Router setup
- Login to router (192.168.2.1)
- Set WAN IP to be Static IP, 192.168.1.255
- Set DHCP range to exclude 192.168.2.254 - 192.168.2.255 (PC static IP)
- Port forward 192.168.2.254 (PC 1), TCP 6112, TCP & UDP 1513
- Port forward 192.168.2.255 (PC 2), TCP 6113, TCP & UDP 1514
Step 4 : PC setup- At PC 1:
- set Static IP to be 192.168.2.254, gateway to be 192.168.2.1, subnet mask and DNS as per usual setting

- Set Warcraft III game port to be 6113 (at Warcraft III, click settings > gameplay)
- Set Garena to connect via port TCP/UDP 1514 (at Garena login page, click advanced)
- Setup windows firewall to allow:
- Programs Garena and Warcraft III
- Port TCP/UDP 1514
Step 5 : Have some faith- Pray and hope it works for you like it did for me = )
- If it doesn't, do post your feedbacks here, maybe the mods could help improve on this guide
Notes :- IP addresses are configurable, just abide by the rules of the settings, static IP to be outside of DHCP range
- Configurability of Gateway IP is modem or router dependent
- Warcraft III game ports to be within 6112 - 6119
- For Garena game ports, recommended by its website FAQ is 1513.
- I’m not sure if opening up and port forwarding 1514 would cause any security vulnerability.
- For my personal usage, I’ve replaced 1514 with a port from the dynamic port range (49152 - 65535)
- At each login of Garena, you’ll need to click advanced settings to enable logging in via the above game ports setup
- Please try at your own risk, feedbacks are welcomed to improve on this guide.
- A possible side effect is during and after playing in either's hosted game, there seems to be problem accessing websites, which could be resolved by Repairing the connection.
